Potted Christmas Tree Ornament "Artsakh"

In September 2023, more than 100,000 Armenians living in their ancestral homeland of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabagh) were forcefully displaced by Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing. The native Armenian population was fleeing persecution as well as a nine-month blockade that prevented access to food, natural gas, electricity, and the internet. Leaving their homes and livelihoods behind, the people of Artsakh relocated to Armenia as refugees. 

HDIF has taken the initiative to create this finely crafted product as a way to provide an income to Artsakh's women artisans. Every purchase allows the producer to help her family as they transition to a new life in Armenia.  Copyright 2024 © Homeland Development Initiative Foundation.
