These beautiful handcrafted necklaces are made by Syrian Armenian women now living in Armenia. Each handmade necklace plays a role in the preservation of traditional Western Armenian needlework techniques. Sivas/Svaz work is pure Armenian needlework based on counting-thread embroidery.
